Our God Is Stronger

Our God Is Stronger

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:12-14

There are times where it may not feel like we’re living in God’s purpose in our life. However, according to the scripture above we must go forward! We have all made mistakes in our lives, some maybe more than others. Fortunately for us, God is not intimidated by our messes: big or small!

In the book of Matthew it says “come to me all you who are heavy burdened and I will give you rest”. We all need rest in this hectic world that is moving so quickly.

1. There Is A Way Out

“No temptation has overtaken you except as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

1 Corinthians 10:13

God has a way out for every mistake, every mess, and every temptation. Even if we feel lost or confused, He has a way out. Nothing is impossible for God. He is the creator of heaven and earth. He is the God with supreme power!

Our reality can be riddled with disappointment and failure. We can be at the end of our luck and having no idea where to turn. But we must understand there is freedom in Jesus Christ and overwhelming victory to defeat every lie and attack of the enemy.

2. Heart of Stone

“Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 5:20-21

Sometimes our hearts can become bitter and hardened by the messes that have been created in our lives. This is exactly why the enemy sent the trouble so he could harden our hearts toward God. Our hearts can become concrete and seem impossible for us to let God into our lives. But in the Bible, God hardened and softened the heart of Pharaoh! He knows exactly what to put into our life to soften our hearts at the exact time. He is never early, and He is never too late!

The shattered pieces of our lives, from child to adult, can stack up through the years manifesting into bitterness and hopelessness turning our hearts into stone. However, God’s word will break off that callous. There is absolutely no stone wall that God cannot penetrate with His word.

3. The Blood of The Lamb

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

Revelation 12:11

The enemy is a liar and the father of lies. It does not matter how close to the edge we are, God will be there to rescue us when we surrender our lives to Him. He is the only escape from sin and death! God is the only one who can soften a hardened heart. He knows our past, present, and future He has planned for us.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

God is not intimidated by drugs, depression, or hopelessness. He breaks through our messes with throne room power annihilating every foul lie of the enemy! He will take our messes and turn them into a testimony of redemption, freedom, and victory. This is why His power is supreme!

Final Thoughts

Hopelessness is the gateway to suicide.

There is no stone wall God cannot penetrate!

Prayer, power, and His miracles soften the heart of stone.

Allow God to turn your heart of stone into a heart of flesh!
