Look What The Lord Has Done

Look What The Lord Has Done

“Because you did not serve the Lord joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yolk on your neck until He has destroyed you.”

Deuteronomy 28:47-48

Take some time now to thank God for all that He has done in your life. In this scripture the people got in trouble because they did not serve the Lord joyfully and with gladness of heart.

1. Leave The Past Behind

Let us not allow the enemy to depress us and steal our joy this season. Do not let him intimidate you and back you up against a wall of anxiety and fear. Let your life be an exciting time of joy and gladness. Do not allow people’s opinion of your walk with God affect you. Remember, it is their issue not ours!

We only need to serve, love, worship God, and forget what is behind us. Let us reach forward to what is ahead. Praise God for what He has done in your life and praise Him for what He is about to do. We must believe that God is just getting started!

2. Spiritual Benefits of Praise

Praise strengthens our faith, brings us much needed encouragement, and releases a spirit of worship breaking the heaviness off of our life. In comes the joy, victory, excitement, gratefulness, and attitude of humility. Out of this flows God’s grace!

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. If we want greater grace, then we must thank Him and become a thankful, grateful person. Don’t become over-familiar with the blessings: our job, health, car, or the people in our life. Let’s count our blessings and thank Him for what He has done. We will move into greater purpose, greater destiny, out of the land of just enough, and into the land of more than enough.

3. Abundance

“You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.”

Psalm 65:11-13

Even those hard pathways that wouldn’t open up this year, God says they are going to flow with abundance!

“Then the Lord said: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.”

Exodus 34:10

These are God’s promises to us! He is about to do something in our life far beyond our wildest imagination. How do we receive this? By faith! When we praise God for what He has done and what He is doing, it strengthens our faith. Praise will release joy, gladness, all of these great emotions, and bring us out of oppression. However, we should want more than just coming out of oppression or our Egypt. We should want our promised land.

4. Promised Land

“May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.”

Psalm 67:5-7

Our promise land is connected to another kind of praise which is a faith praise. God wants to bless us. Let’s begin expecting and decreeing over our life that we are going to praise God right into our promised land. Our praise will release our faith and cause our fields to yield increase. Repeat these words: “my field is yielding increase!”

Final Thoughts

Praise is the fuel that moves us forward in our faith journey strengthening our faith and causing our fields to yield increase.

It won’t be long now, God’s decree, things are going to happen so fast our heads will spin (Amos 9:11-15).

Praise God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He is about to do!
